Novo Discrete Headphone Amplifier Suitable for all high quality dynamic head worn headphones from 16 to 600 Ohms impedance.

This must be a first! A discrete transistor headphone amp for only £200! (ex VAT). Yes you heard right: most discrete headphone amps cost a fortune but this is definitely a discrete solid-state design! But that's not all. It uses multi-path negative feedback and an output impedance reduction network which lets it drive all dynamic headphone impedances with incredible ease. It can hold its own against tube amps costing up to 9 times more! But it's only a heavy-weight musically: the case is a miniature 10cm x 10cm x 5cm (approx.) So small and light it will easily travel everywhere with you*. A fun headphone amplifier with all musical sources and all musical genres.

The volume control is designed to be used in any position that gives a satisfactory output thereby not requiring additional gain switching.

Supplied complete with a tiny lightweight "green" plug-top switched-mode power supply (SM-PS) complete with 4 plug head adapters to suit nearly every power outlet in the world: it also self adjusts to ac mains voltages from 100 to 250 volts. The SM-PS power supply complies with world-wide energy efficiency and safety standards.

The Novo is also fully RoHS compliant - a true green high achiever!

Input: 1 x Stereo on 2 x RCA phono jack, with chained-through output to 2 x RCA phono jack
Sensitivity range: 100mV - 775mV rms (up to 2 volts peak, or more with volume set low)
Output: 1 x Stereo 6.35mm (1/4 inch) standard headphone jack

* this is not a portable headphone amplifier but is easily transported along with its power supply in hand luggage
